The students of the Dept. of Political Science, Deshbandhu College for
Girls had jointly organized an online interactive session: The Road
Ahead with the Department of Political Science, New Alipore College,
Kolkata on 31.07.2021. This session had been focused on the Nature
and Scope of Studying Masters in Political Science. Ms. Srishti Ghosh,
Dept. of Political Sc., University of Calcutta, Ms. Madhumita Jana
Sahoo, Dept. of Political Sc., Rabindra Bharati University, Ms.
Neelanjana Bandyopadhyay, Dept. of Political Science, Presidency
University and Ms. Debasmita Dey, Dept. of Political Sc., Jadavpur
University were the speakers at the event.
About 20 students from all 3 semesters (9 students from 6

Sem and 8 students from 2

Sem.) of Political Science Hons.
Course of Deshbandhu College for Girls made an active participation
in the session. Prof. Devbani Raychaudhuri, Head, Dept. of Political
Science was one of the inaugural speakers in the Session.
