Organizers: NSS & NCC Units in collaboration with Calcutta Ekatma

Deshbandhu College for Girls organized a Poster Competition for its students to

mark the ‘International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

(26th June)’. We received overwhelming response from the students and were

flooded with brilliantly drawn and conceptualized posters, each one worthy of

getting awarded. These posters needed to be showcased, and what better platform

than the Online Cancer Awareness Programme, that was organized by

Deshbandhu College for Girls in collaboration with Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre

& Research Institute (SGCCRI) and Calcutta Ekatma and broadcasted live on

YouTube on 24th July 2021.

The posters were presented before the live audience and the winners were

announced. All the posters received immense appreciation and praises from the

viewers. The Jury for the competition comprised of Prof. Bela Bose, President,

Calcutta Ekatma and the members of the Webinar Committee, Deshbandhu

College for Girls.
